Your route from Union Wharf at Market Harborough canal basin will take you through the peaceful Leicestershire landscape.
After your training, you will set off through a swing bridge and a further foot bridge, into the basin at the bottom of Foxton Locks. You do not go up the locks on a Day Boat (you will need to book a holiday boat for that experience!)
Here you can enjoy a drink at a canalside pub. Many people choose to picnic on their boat at Foxton, too, before turning round by 2pm and heading back to Union Wharf.
You will disembark by 4.30pm (5pm in the lighter months) – with lots of memories to share
