Union Wharf Marina is at the heart of Market Harborough canal basin in Leicestershire. The basin here is a picturesque waterfront destination offering holiday hire boats to cater for all tastes.
We aim to find the ideal boat to suit your plans, whether you are an experienced boater or a complete novice looking for a minibreak adventure.
Choose from our interior-designed luxury Boutique Narrowboats for couples, our smaller day boats for groups or a holiday boat for families.
The marina at Union Wharf is at the end of the Market Harborough arm. This is a peaceful stretch of the Grand Union canal which meanders through the rural Leicestershire landscape.
From Union Wharf you will soon reach the iconic Foxton Locks. From there, take a scenic route up to Leicester or choose a rural southern itinerary to Crick or Braunston.
No experience is necessary to holiday on a narrowboat and we provide all the training you need.
Many of our hirers have never set foot on a canal boat before their holiday and so you are in good company. Although we offer a comprehensive handover for all our guests, we are happy to do a bit of extra ‘hand-holding’ for novices who come aboard.
