This autumn sees the launch of our new Instagram account especially for those new to canal boats, and to mark the occasion we’re offering entry into our competition to win a fabulous minibreak on our family narrowboat, Gosling.
This canal boat is designed for groups of friends or family and the winner (+ optional pet) will have its sole use from Friday 13th – Monday 16th March 2020. Our hire base at Market Harborough specialises in holidays for narrowboat novices, so beginners are very welcome.
Choose to cruise through the world-famous Foxton Locks, enjoy Leicestershire’s plentiful canal-side bars and restaurants, or make the most of our stunning rural landscape with towpath picnics. If you’ve never been on a narrowboat minibreak before, be inspired by our collection of specially-written routes and itineraries.
On board, Gosling has been designed to suit modern families, with two shower rooms and complete privacy between each of the three sleeping areas. You can choose between a variety of layouts which include single and double beds.
The amenities include a full kitchen and dining area, but if canal-side pubs and restaurants are more your thing, there are also plenty of pubs and restaurants en route.
